Colorology V

Colorology V by Migle Kosinskaite concludes the chromatic odyssey with playful sophistication and quiet wisdom. The face, part mask and part mirror, embodies the union of intellect and emotion long sought throughout the series. The mustard-yellow geometry frames the composition like a field of focus, grounding the surreal gaze of asymmetrical lenses - one open to perception, the other closed in reflection. Above, a band of blue breathes clarity, while below, the black curve of stylized lips suggests irony, perhaps even acceptance. Kosinskaite balances color and form with masterful restraint. Yellow radiates thought, blue evokes distance, and black anchors both in depth and mystery. The tactile surface, textured and alive, speaks of time and transformation - of how the self, viewed through countless perspectives, becomes both observer and subject. Each element feels deliberate, as if the artist is offering a final meditation on how color defines not only the seen world but also the unseen inner landscape. As the final voice of the cycle, Colorology V gathers the essence of Colorology I, II, III, and IV into a single, resonant harmony. It is not merely an ending but a synthesis - a closing gesture that transforms study into insight, experiment into revelation. Through it, Migle Kosinskaite leaves the viewer with the awareness that color, like identity, is never static but endlessly reborn in the gaze that dares to see.
