Highlights Dimmable halogen filament Ideal beam projection for basking Longer life than other heat spotlights Available in 4 wattages: 25w, 50w, 75w, & 100w Available in 2 colors: White and Red These Eco-Halogen Spot Lamps are part of a range of energy-efficient heat/light lamps from industry experts Reptile Systems. They've been engineered to provide a better natural lighting experience than traditional incandescent alternatives. They also have a wide range of built-in features that will benefit your beloved reptile and make your job as a reptile keeper much easier. Features Extended lifespan - The halogen cycle efficiently re-deposits evaporated tungsten back onto the bulb's filament, significantly extending its lifespan. Energy efficient - Lamps produce higher levels of light and heat using less power than an incandescent alternative. This ensures a sustainable and cost-effective lighting solution. Effective heat and light spread - Lamps offer an effective spread of both heat and light thanks to their quartz glass faces. Brighter, natural light spectrum - White light mimics natural sunlight. This spectrum is also tailored to meet the specific needs of reptiles and promote natural behaviors. Universal compatibility - Designed for convenience, one-size units can accommodate all four bulb wattage options, offering versatility and ease of use. Dimmable - Control the intensity of light to customize your reptile's habitat and save on energy costs. Replacement bulbs for these Eco-Halogen Spot Lamps can be purchased separately in packs of two. These bulbs are available in four wattages: 25W, 50W, 75W and 100W. They're designed to be used in Eco-Halogen White Spot Lamps only and shouldn't be used in any other lamp. Instructions These Eco-Halogen Spot Lamps comprise three parts: ceramic screw, bulb, and main body. These three pieces fit together to create a single lamp that can then be screwed into your lighting unit of choice. While assembling your lamp, or changing a bulb, be sure to hold the foam shield to avoid touching the bulb. How To Keep Your Heat Bulb From Burning Out Prematurely Using a high-end thermostat like the HerpStat 1 or any of the HerpStat allows this bulb to be turned on gently further increasing the lifespan of the filament by eliminating the sudden surge of power that happens with an on/off switch. Another advantage of the Herpstat gentle start feature is that it can be programmed to come on slowly over a selectable amount of time simulating sunrise at dawn as well as turning off slowly to simulate the dusk sunset.
