Repose

A moment of stillness amid the vastness of the sea. In Repose, a tiny hummingbird perches atop a sun-faded buoy, adrift in open water under a dramatic sky. The bird, so often seen in a flurry of motion, becomes a symbol of rare calm—anchored yet free. Rolling swells and towering clouds create a sense of expansive quiet, offering space for breath, reflection, and peace.   The brushwork captures both the energy and tranquility of the ocean, balancing vibrant detail with soft atmospherics. From the textured rust on the buoy to the iridescent feathers of the bird, every element draws you into a contemplative moment suspended between sea and sky.   This painting invites you to pause, let go, and simply be. Each print is produced using archival premium paper and ink, ensuring exceptional detail, rich color, and long-lasting beauty. Perfect for collectors or anyone drawn to serene, surreal seascapes. ***Note that sizes listed reflect paper size and the printed image will be a bit smaller.
