Replica Whooping Crane Skull

The whooping crane is one of North America's tallest and rarest birds, known for its striking white plumage, black wingtips, and loud, trumpeting call. Standing nearly five feet tall, these elegant birds were once on the brink of extinction but have made a slow recovery through intensive conservation efforts. Whooping cranes migrate long distances between their breeding grounds in Canada and wintering areas along the Gulf Coast, relying on wetland habitats for survival.
