Replica Sabertooth Cat Saber

The term "saber-tooth tiger" commonly refers to extinct members of the family Felidae that possessed long, curved canine teeth, such as Smilodon. These prehistoric cats lived during the Pleistocene epoch and are often depicted with large, saber-like canine teeth adapted for hunting large prey. Despite the name, saber-toothed cats were not true tigers; they belonged to a different evolutionary lineage. Smilodon, one of the most well-known saber-toothed cats, became extinct around 10,000 years ago, likely due to various factors, including climate change and shifts in prey populations.
