Replica American Opossum Skull - Economy

The American opossum, more specifically the Virginia opossum, is the only marsupial native to North America. It’s known for its grayish fur, pointed snout, hairless tail, and ability to “play dead” when threatened—a defense behavior called thanatosis. Nocturnal and omnivorous, opossums eat everything from fruits and insects to small animals and carrion, playing a valuable role in pest control and ecosystem cleanup. Economy replica skulls are designed to be more affordable while still serving as effective educational tools. They may lack some of the finer detailing found in regular skulls, such as open neural passages, and are made entirely from a single material—including the teeth—whereas Bone Clones' standard skulls use a different material for the teeth to better mimic the look and feel of real ones. Additionally, standard skulls are often lightly stained to resemble natural bone or match the original specimen, while Economy versions may have little to no staining.
