Replanted

“I’ve got to go back up there to explore the caves,” Netta exclaimed. “I’m positive I’ll find evidence.” “Evidence?” Dahlia gave her a quizzical look. “Evidence of people who occupied those lands long ago.” “Whatever for?” Dahlia said. “Leave them for the archaeologists, Netta.” “It’s personal. It’ll make my disturbing dreams go away.” Eighteen-year-old Netta Bodenheim enjoys tending her herb and spice garden and scribbling in her sketch pad. Yet she’s plagued by memories of Ketzia, a teenager whose family lived in the times of the Second Beis HaMikdash. Once in seminary in Eretz Yisrael, Netta yearns for clarity as she explores her connection to Ketzia, but her odd behaviors and obsession with biblical plants land her in deep trouble. Her mother forbids Netta from sharing her dreams, insisting she pretend to be like everyone else. Girls think she’s strange, and she’s in danger of being kicked out of sem. With so much opposition, how will Netta ever discover the sacred secrets of the past? In this groundbreaking novel by popular author Chaya Rochel Zimmerman, you’ll root for Netta as she struggles to unearth the missing seeds of her identity and grow into her authentic self. *** “This book will open your mind to a hidden dimension that affects all of us — usually without our knowing.” —Sara Yoheved Rigler, author of I’ve Been Here Before
