Replacement Zipper Slider Sampler Pack

Not sure which zipper slider size you need? Don’t guess — sample it. A broken slider is an easy fix. The hard part is buying the right one. Manufacturer numbers on old sliders don’t always match, “#5” isn’t the same across brands, and a slider made for nylon coil will not run on molded plastic or metal teeth. Each Replacement Zipper Slider Sampler Pack gives you the most common sizes for one zipper type so you can test-fit, keep extras on hand, and stop paying shipping on the wrong slider. Choose your zipper type above. One pack = one zipper family. Sliders are not interchangeable across types.   How to pick the right pack 1. Look at the teeth, not the slider body. Most sliders are metal even when the zipper is nylon or plastic. 2. Match the tooth material: Nylon coil — flexible spiral teeth, common on jackets, garments, bags, and upholstery Molded plastic — chunky individual plastic teeth, common on jackets, luggage, and outdoor gear Metal — brass/nickel teeth, common on jackets, jeans, and heavier garments Reverse bale / reverse coil — nylon coil with teeth facing the back for an “invisible” look; needs a reverse-bale slider, not a standard coil slider 3. Then, pick the pull style: Jacket / auto-lock — locking sliders that stay put on jackets, pockets, garments, and upholstery Long pull / non-lock — longer pull, slides from either direction; typical on bags, backpacks, covers, and outdoor items Reversible — access is needed to the zipper from both sides, or the jacket is reversible Mixed (reverse bale only) — includes a mix of standard auto-lock, flatlock and non-lock long pull reverse bale sliders What's included in each pack: NYLON COIL ZIPPER Slider Sampler Pack (Jacket/standard pulls): (1) ea of the following sizes: #3, #4.5, #5, #7, #8, #10 NYLON COIL ZIPPER Slider Sampler Pack (Long pulls): (1) ea of the following sizes: #3, #5, #7, #8, #10 NYLON COIL ZIPPER Slider Sampler Pack (Reversible pulls): (1) ea of the following sizes: #5, #7, #8, #10 REVERSE COIL ZIPPER Slider Sampler Pack (Reverse Bale pulls): (1) ea of the following sizes: #3, #5, #7, #8, #9, #10 MOLDED PLASTIC ZIPPER Slider Sampler Pack (Jacket/standard pulls): (1) ea of the following sizes: #3, #5, #8, #10 MOLDED PLASTIC ZIPPER Slider Sampler Pack (Long pulls): (1) ea of the following sizes: #5, #8, #10 MOLDED PLASTIC ZIPPER Slider Sampler Pack (Reversible pulls): (1) ea of the following sizes: #5, #8, #10 METAL ZIPPER Slider Sampler Pack (Jacket/standard pulls): (1) ea of the following sizes: #5, #8, #10 Still not sure of the type or the size? Many of our customers keep a variety of packs on hand. Mix and match any 3 packs and save 20%.     Who this is for - You need to replace a slider on a jacket, bag, backpack, tent, or upholstery project and are not 100% sure of the size - You repair clothing or outdoor gear and want a small “first-aid” kit of sliders - You measured an in-between size (for example ~6mm) and want the two closest gauges without buying full packs of each - You already know the type, and you just want common sizes stocked for the next repair     Need a refresher on measuring gauge? Measure the width of the closed teeth in millimeters (or double one tooth and round down if it won’t zip). That number is the size: 5mm ≈ #5, 8mm ≈ #8, 10mm ≈ #10.
