Jewelry Care Our jewelry is thoughtfully made to be worn and loved, but because jewelry is delicate by nature, we recommend treating your pieces with care to keep them looking their best. Remove your jewelry before showering, washing your hands, sleeping, exercising, swimming, or doing any activity that may expose it to water, chemicals, impact, or excessive friction. We especially recommend removing rings before doing any heavy or rough work with your hands, as impact can damage gemstones, loosen prongs, or alter the shape of a ring. When getting dressed, we recommend putting your jewelry on last. Sweaters, pockets, towels, and other fabrics can catch on prongs or delicate details and potentially damage your piece. A Note About Natural Gemstones All of our gemstones are natural, and some require a little extra care. Opals and turquoise, in particular, are softer stones and can be more susceptible to scratching, chipping, or damage from impact. We recommend being mindful when wearing gemstone jewelry and avoiding contact with hard surfaces. Natural gemstones may also have variations in color, texture, inclusions, and pattern. These characteristics are part of what makes each stone unique. Repairs Studio Grun is not responsible for stones that are lost, chipped, cracked, or broken due to normal wear, impact, or accidental damage. However, we want you to be able to enjoy your jewelry for years to come, so we offer repair services for Studio Grun pieces at reasonable rates. Depending on the piece, our repair services include stone replacement, chain replacement, replating, prong tightening, and other minor repairs. Repair Pricing Small Stone Replacement — $15 + shipping Replacement of a small lost or damaged stone. Large Stone Replacement — $30 + shipping Replacement of a larger lost or damaged stone. Chain Replacement — $28 + shipping Small Ring Replating — $20 + shipping Large Ring Replating — $30 + shipping Size Exchange — $15 Eligible pieces may be exchanged for a new size within 14 days of delivery. The $15 fee includes shipping the replacement size back to you. Please refer to our Returns & Exchanges policy for eligibility. Additional Shipping For partial or additional shipping charges. Please contact us before selecting this option. Repair Turnaround Please allow approximately 2–4 weeks for your repair to be completed. Once you have submitted your repair order, please email us before shipping your jewelry so we can provide the appropriate shipping instructions. Important: Please do not ship jewelry loose in a standard paper envelope. Jewelry should be placed in a small, secure box and then inside a padded mailer or shipping box. Standard envelopes can tear or become crushed during transit, which may result in your jewelry being damaged or lost. Customers are responsible for securely shipping their jewelry to Studio Grun. Return shipping after the repair is completed is included where specified in the repair service purchased.
