Renegade

Renegade: A Proven Classic in Modern Fly Fishing The Renegade, a time-tested and reliable fly pattern, is experiencing a resurgence in popularity among anglers across the country. Its effectiveness lies in its versatility, allowing it to be fished both as a dry fly and just beneath the surface. To maximize its potential, anglers are advised to fish it dry initially, followed by a jerking motion that submerges the fly slightly under the surface, mimicking a struggling insect. By "skipping" the Renegade across the stream in a manner similar to fishing the F-C Crackleback, anglers can elicit aggressive strikes from predatory fish. Available in sizes 12, 14, 16, and 18, the Renegade caters to a wide range of fishing conditions and target species, offering precision and adaptability. Whether targeting larger trout with a size 12 or presenting a more delicate offering with a size 18, the Renegade remains a dependable choice for both novice and seasoned fly fishers.
