As part of this process, foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off—this is completely normal! Shedding leaves helps the plants conserve energy and prepare for the next growing season. Rest assured, your shrubs will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change! Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. These easy-care roses defy conventional expectations of what a rose needs to thrive in your landscape. To keep it looking great, simply prune back by at least one third its total height each early spring, just as the new buds begin to emerge on the stems. Make your cut just above a thick, healthy bud, as these produce the most vigorous growth. The plant may be deadheaded if desired, but this is not required for continuous bloom.   Shipping Info: Enjoy free shipping on orders over $125 Size at shipping varies by the season and plant Quart shrubs are 5-8" tall at shipment 1-Gallon shrubs are 6-24" tall at shipment Shrubs shipped Nov-Apr will arrive dormant; shrubs shipped Apr-Oct will arrive green or in bloom
