"Abandon," original painting, 30" x 30"

allAn explosion of brilliant fuchsia, teals and blue fills the canvas in an expansive  floral display. The "Gaia" paintings developed out of an accident of spilled paint on the floor. I noticed the beautiful patterns in the puddle, and didn't want the paint to go to waste. I pushed a canvas into the wet paint, and discovered a whole new world of amazing patterns and designs. Since that epiphany, I have developed these paintings through the use of precise pull techniques and surfactants added to the paint. I continue to be amazed by the variety of art I can create this way, and each painting is completely unique and surprising. The "Gaia" paintings represent a sampling of Gaia, the living Earth, manifest through paint on canvas. The free-flowing patterns resemble the natural patterns of plants, flowers, water, sky, rocks and gems. Sustainability is an important part of my artistic practice, and this painting was created using repurposed leftover house paint that would otherwise go to waste. 30" x 30" original triptych painting repurposed acrylic latex paint on canvas coated with UV varnish for durability and to protect against fading gallery wrap canvas, 1-1/2 inches deep with painted sides signed by the artist on the back wired and ready to hang FedEx shipping within the US contact me for an international shipping quote artwork guarantee - if you don't love it, return it What People Are Saying "Your painting looks so stunning on my wall, I cannot believe it!!!"
