REL Commodore LFE Subwoofer Cable

Description Features Specifications Step up to the next tier of bass. Commodore™ is REL’s premium .1/LFE subwoofer cable, created for systems where detail and dynamic range matter most. With enhanced shielding and REL-designed RCA connectors, Commodore delivers richer low frequencies, tighter response, and a more dimensional soundstage. It is the ideal companion for REL’s Serie S, HT/1510 Predator, and Reference models. Superior Craftsmanship. Maximum Emotion. Commodore™ is a performance-focused LFE cable for those seeking more from their system. Wrapped in a bold, blue braided jacket, Commodore delivers refined aesthetics and purposeful architecture to preserve signal fidelity and reduce noise. Premium conductors and shielding reveal greater detail and depth across the entire soundstage. REL-engineered left-handed thread RCA connectors ensure a secure, precise fit with subwoofers and home theatre components. Unraveling the Details That Matter Commodore takes LFE performance to a higher level. At its core is a high-quality, Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductor composed of 19 strands of ultra-fine 38 AWG wire. This design transmits the full weight and nuance of modern soundtracks with speed and precision.  The internal architecture is finely tuned to unravel complex passages and preserve the sharp leading edge of transients. From subtle atmospheric cues to high-impact explosions, Commodore delivers articulation, timing, and control with remarkable clarity. Paired with Serie S or Reference models, it reveals the hidden potential of your theatre system. Superior Grounding for Maximum Dynamics Eleven strands of 99.99% pure OFC help to create the optimal ground path that is key to providing outstanding dynamics.  Commodore uses a full-foil sheet to block both radio frequency and electromagnetic interference ensuring the quiet background necessary for theatre work.  Using a dedicated ground and a separate full-foil shield allows Commodore to deliver outstanding performance in every scenario.  This level of protection is essential in real-world installations where cables often run near power lines and electronic equipment. The result is a cleaner background, more accurate bass, and dynamic range that feels effortless and alive. Built for Systems That Evolve Commodore’s custom-machined RCA connectors are both durable and refined. Each one features a reverse-threaded (Left-Hand Twist) shell that stays secure through repeated system changes and cable adjustments.  Its compact casing reduces strain on input jacks and simplifies installation in tight spaces. Every connector is hand-soldered to preserve signal integrity and maintain strength. The entire cable is wrapped in Supplex™, REL's ultra-flexible braided jacket, making Commodore easy to install and built for long-term reliability. Features: Low-noise architecture Elegant, reliable cable structure optimizes dynamic range REL-specific, precision-machined RCA connectors Reverse-threaded RCA shell ensures easy installation and enhances reliability Specifications: Ground Path: Independent dedicated ground separate from the noise shield. 11 strands of 32-gauge OFC.
