Reinsman 482 Snake River Bit

A great choice for a horse that is comfortable in a snaffle and light leverage bits. The primary function of the Reinsman Snake River bit is to encourage a young horse graduating from a snaffle bit to break at the poll. The unique shape of the shank allows for immediate release when the horse collects and softens into the bridle. The shape and gag of the shank also promote lifting the horse’s shoulders and the ability to cue the horse with a delayed reaction without slowing the horse’s feet down during competition. The 482 is excellent for a sensitive, lighter horse that needs to have their shoulders squared up with a two-piece mouthpiece. The copper encourages salivation, which creates a soft, supple mouth that promotes comfort for the horse.
