Kids Merino Wool Base Layer Set – Reima Kinsei – Warm Wool-Lyocell Blend

The Reima Kinsei Kids Merino Wool Base Layer Set is made for the cold winter days when a dependable first layer makes all the difference. A soft blend of merino wool and lyocell provides warmth, temperature control, and comfortable next-to-skin wear for outdoor school, ski days, snowy playgrounds, and long family adventures outside. Designed specifically for cold weather, the Kinsei combines 72% merino wool with 28% lyocell. Merino brings lightweight warmth and helps regulate temperature, while lyocell adds softness and durability. The fabric continues providing warmth even when damp, making it a practical foundation for active winter layering. Why Parents Love It Made for cold weather: Reima designed the Kinsei as a warm thermal base layer for colder winter conditions. Merino wool temperature control: Soft merino wool helps regulate warmth as kids move between active play and quieter moments outside. Soft lyocell blend: Lyocell adds comfort and durability to the merino wool construction. Warm even when damp: The wool-blend fabric continues providing warmth when moisture is present. Comfortable for movement: Soft flat seams and strategically placed side inserts support comfortable, unrestricted play. Built for Real Outdoor Use Cold-weather adventures rarely happen at one activity level. Kids might hike slowly along a snowy trail, race up a sledding hill, kneel to investigate animal tracks, and settle down for snack time all in the same morning. The Kinsei is built for those changing rhythms, using merino wool for natural temperature control and lyocell for added softness and durability. Thoughtful details make it especially practical beneath winter gear. Flat seams help keep the first layer comfortable against the body, side inserts support freedom of movement, and a longer back hem adds coverage as kids bend, climb, and explore. Pair it with a fleece or wool mid layer and weather-protective outerwear as conditions require. Things to Know Merino wool blend: The fabric is made from 72% merino wool and 28% lyocell.
