Reggie Young's Signature Bolt-On

- AVAILABLE NOW - While his neck-through has become Reggie’s go-to, his bolt-on still holds a special place in his story. Rather than let it sit, he’s chosen to send it off to a new home—so it can continue to inspire and bring joy, just as it has for him since 2017. Reggie Young's Signature Imperial MG 6 Bolt-On Long a mainstay in the gospel, funk, and R&B scene as well as being a well-known producer, Reggie was looking for an instrument that could both capture the voice he had become known for while also allowing him to stretch beyond that with greater tonal flexibility. To achieve this, Reggie chose a Swamp Ash body matched with a 3-piece Maple neck and Birdseye Maple fingerboard delivering a punchy low end, aggressive midrange, and a snappy top end. This is our first signature model to feature a bolt-on single-cut body allowing for a punchy and defined overall tone while also retaining the ease of playability found on our neck-through models with its careful sculpted and ergonomic heel. It also features a set of Kent Armstrong Custom Dual Coil pickups which offer a distinct midrange bite and a glassy top-end allowing it to cut through a dense mix. To round things out, the Reggie Young Signature Imperial MG features wooden pickup covers and ramp for fast playing.   THIN FAST NECK  34" SCALE, 24 FRETS 17.5MM SPACING REDWOOD BURL TOP ASH BODY BIRDSEYE MAPLE FB KENT ARMSTRONG DUAL COILS FODERA x DR STRINGS FODERA POPE PREAMP  REGGIE'S SIGNATURE IS ETCHED INTO THE BACKPLATE *NATURAL WEAR FROM YEARS OF PLAYING   FOR DIRECT SALE ONLY *A $125 US Fish and Wildlife processing fee will be added to this item if shipped outside of the United States
