Refined Shea Butter (16 oz)

This refined shea butter is entirely natural, undergoing a gentle purification that lifts the nutty scent and light tint found in raw shea. No solvents, bleaches, or harsh chemicals touch the product, so you will never find residual contaminants in the finished block. The refinement process begins with a thorough wash to clear away debris. Next, a non-chemical whitening step removes the kernel’s natural color, followed by mechanical filtration and deodorizing to eliminate particles and any lingering aroma. Because most of the original fatty acids and lipids remain intact, this butter performs much like its unrefined counterpart. It is an excellent choice for formulas that require a neutral base, whether you plan to add fragrance, color, or prefer a completely unscented result. Our shea butter is sourced from the nuts of the shea tree, Vitellaria paradoxa, grown in Ghana. Locals call it the Tree of Life for its wide-ranging benefits to skin and hair, while shea butter itself is often praised as Mother Nature’s Conditioner for its exceptional ability to soften and moisturize.   Known for calming and hydrating mature or weather-worn skin, this butter is a staple for anyone seeking natural, effective care. *Shea Butter is made from Shea Nuts.
