46g / 0.101lbs / 1.62oz 1.62" x 1.53" x 1.10" From Corinto, Minas Gerais, Brazil Red quartz, also known as tangerine quartz is transparent with an orange or red cast. In appearance it ranges from a pale pinkish orange to a vibrant ruby hue. The color derives from inclusions or encrustations of iron. Lemurian Crystals have a distinct appearance.  Look carefully and you will see horizontal striations or grooves, like “bar codes,”. Lemurian crystals often appeared in clusters of long shafts and as individual wands. Crystal lovers may have noticed that it is very difficult to find rough Lemurian crystal wands without any dings or chips. That is because the method of mining Lemurians usually damages the crystals as they fall during the water jet mining process.
