Princes are an iconic pattern in the nymphing world. Meant to look like stones or mayflies or an attractor, they have a place in almost every fly box. This variation in particular makes a nice attractor pattern, especially in tailwaters. Tied with an hot dubbing these patterns are quite noticeable from a distance, making them a great candidate for czech/euro nymphing styles.
