Red Fox Spike Speedwell

Red Fox Spike Speedwell (Veronica spicata 'Red Fox')Red Fox Spike Speedwell is a compact perennial that delivers bold, rose-pink flower spikes for strong summer color in a tidy footprint. It adds clean vertical structure to borders without crowding nearby plants, making beds look more intentional and finished. The blooms are a magnet for pollinators and also make easy cut flowers for simple bouquets. With sun, good drainage, and quick deadheading, it keeps performing with minimal effort. Distinctive FeaturesThis selection forms a bushy, upright clump of deep green foliage topped with dense spikes of deep rose-pink to fuchsia-pink flowers. Bloom typically runs from early summer into late summer, and it often reblooms when spent spikes are trimmed back. The compact habit stays neat at the front of the border, while the flower wands add height and rhythm without flopping. It is also often tolerated by deer and rabbits compared with many soft-leaved perennials. Growing Conditions Sun: Full sun for best flowering and strongest stems, with light shade tolerated.
