RED FLAG DOWN VHS

NOTE: THIS IS A PRE-ORDER. VHS WILL SHIP LATE AUGUST 2024.   Presented in partnership with Shell-Phil Pictures and Christopher P. Smith!     From the makers of such cult classics as THE GIRL FROM S.I.N. and A NIGHT TO DISMEMBER comes an action-packed, bullet-ridden hell ride that rips down the walls between fantasy and reality!   When the eccentric owners of a state-of-the-art paintball park invite a young city reporter to preview their genius, things get out of hand when one team realizes they’ve been tricked into using real bullets, and killing their opponents.   Those who were forced to kill their own friends confront the crazed owners only to find they’re trapped in the game - and the only way out is through the barrel of a gun!   Revenge runs wild in a bloody kill-or-be-killed exchange of death where the final twist is the most shocking plot yet!   A shot-on-video super rarity from 1992, RED FLAG DOWN is a wacky, violent, and raw regional action comedy bursting with blood-dripping squibs, quirky characters, and an army of bullet-ridden dead bodies. This hard-to-find SOV shoot-em-up is on target to delight every fan of backyard no-budget movie magic.   LUNCHMEAT is incredibly VHStoked to bring the ultra-rare, shot-on-video action / comedy RED FLAG DOWN back to VHS for the first time in 32 years.   Originally released in small press by the producers in 1992, not many of the original tapes are known to exist, and are extremely difficult to find. Here’s your chance to feed this SOV rarity to your VCR!   This VHS re-issue is the only way to see this film other than the scarce original pressing.   “RED FLAG DOWN has the explosive energy of a Ronnie Sortor squib fight with the absurdist overacting a 90s sketch comedy, all set in a backyard DIY movie that would make Nathan Schiff proud… See a 3-piece mustache, a double gloved wino, and a bloopers reel that starts before you know the movie is over. Good bloody fun!” - Brewce Longo, Blood Sick Productions   1992 / 61 MINS / COLOR / NOT RATED   Presented in 4:3. Duplicated in NTSC.   This is the first LUNCHMEAT edition of 50 copies, housed in full color slipcases, and pressed on black videocassettes.
