Red Express - Cabbage Seeds

These early, and compact cabbages are bred for the Canada and Northern United States. They have dense, deep red-purple solid oval heads that weigh 2 -4 pounds each! Red Express is a medium size seed variety that can be spaced closer than other cabbage types. Height of 12" and spread of 8-12" makes this cabbage excellent for container growing. Packet 500mg ~ 150 seeds. GROWING TIPS Start seed indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 50-85 degrees. Transplant to the garden 2 to 4 weeks before your average last frost. If direct seeding, sow seeds 3 to 5 weeks prior to average last frost or as soon as the soil can be worked.
