Red Cherry Marigold

This distinctive French Marigold brings a rich, warm palette to the flower bed. Unlike typical orange varieties, 'Red Cherry' boasts fully double, ruffled blooms of deep mahogany-red, each petal edged in gold around a bright lemon-yellow eye. Flowering early and persisting until frost, these compact, ten-inch plants offer a long season of dramatic color. Their tidy, dwarf habit makes them perfect for tucking into containers, lining a walkway, or brightening the front of a border. Beyond their beauty, these marigolds are practical allies in the garden. They are an excellent choice for companion planting in vegetable and herb patches, where they help deter pests while attracting pollinators. Rugged and reliable, 'Red Cherry' stands up well to drought and possesses a natural resistance to deer, making it a carefree and hardworking addition to any sunny spot.
