Red Balloon® Viburnum

Red Balloon® Viburnum: Bright Berries, Beautiful Seasons Red Balloon® Viburnum brings lasting beauty to the landscape with eye-catching color from spring through fall. Large, lacy white flower clusters blanket the plant in spring, followed by green berries that mature to brilliant red in late summer. Thick, leathery green foliage keeps this shrub looking polished throughout the growing season, while its dependable nature makes it a great choice for foundation plantings, mixed borders, woodland gardens, and privacy screens. This adaptable shrub tolerates partial shade and is deer resistant, making it an easy addition to a wide range of landscapes. It will produce some berries on its own, but planting it near 'Mohican' or 'Alleghany' viburnum will result in a heavier fruit display. Red Balloon® Viburnum also grows well in large landscape containers while young, adding seasonal color to patios and outdoor living spaces.
