Red Ammolite Necklace #2

Unlike the larger double deck pieces, this pendant uses a simpler single-layer construction, allowing the stone itself to take center stage. The surrounding glyphs are individually hand stamped into the metal. The centerpiece is natural red ammolite, an opalized fossil shell from the ancient marine mollusk known as the ammonite. These creatures inhabited prehistoric seas approximately 75–80 million years ago. The shell material can display remarkable natural iridescence, and this specimen carries rich red coloration across its surface. In New Age traditions, ammolite is associated with transformation, prosperity, vitality, and connection to ancient earth energy. Ammolite has a Mohs hardness of approximately 3.5–4, so this is a stone that benefits from gentle wear and careful handling. Ammolite is best for people who need steadiness, structure, and grounding in their lives. Even if you will only achieve this by going through major emotional shifts, having this powerful stone with you will help you understand the shifts that are taking place. Ammolite is a very protective stone. It's said to bring you prosperity, fortune, and luck. It’s also a stone that will help you reach deep meditative states. History Tidbit: The name Ammolite is from the name of the Ancient Egyptian God Ammon, who was represented by a head of a ram with twisted horns it’s a brilliant gemstone that appears with wonderful shades right through the spectrum.
