Rector's, New York 1913

This was the legendary 'lobster palace' on Broadway in Times Square launched by Charles Rector in New York City in 1899. This was a time of high living, high flying financiers, actors, singers and gamblers, who liked to spend their large rolls of cash lavishly. The goal was to be seen, and Rector's on Broadway, in the heart of the theater district, was in the right place at the right time.
