Read Back Correct Lyons Studios Limited Edition Aviation Print

With Read Back Correct, world-renowned aviation artist Sam Lyons takes a break from focusing on planes and pilots in order to showcase the men & women on the other end of the mic: Air Traffic Controllers. This 15" x 22½" illustration offers viewers a glimpse inside a functioning air traffic control (ATC) tower, complete with a pair of controllers going about their duties. Those who have been fortunate enough to tour an ATC facility will applaud the artist's dedication to accuracy, and anyone familiar with the Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (KPDK) in Atlanta, Georgia, will recognize the view out the window as that very aerodrome. As with the inside of the tower cab, Lyons has gone to great lengths to reproduce a genuine background scene. Everything from the labyrinth of pavement to the airplanes on the distant ramp to the stationary fuel truck out the left window is characteristic of a real-world general aviation (GA) facility. Stare at it long enough and you might even be tempted to clear an aircraft to land. This picture is available as a signed & numbered Limited Edition print (limited to 300). The illustration is printed on acid-free paper, utilizes first-rate permanent inks, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. A superb accolade to America's air traffic controllers that's sure to garner respect from air travelers all over the world.
