“RD656” Rotating Disc Padlock

The “RD656” is the military’s “General Field Service Padlock,” formally tested by the DoD Lock Program against Federal Specification FF-P-2827A and approved for use by the U.S. Military. This commercial version of the padlock features the same electroless nickel-plated brass body with a medical-grade, and 1/2″ diameter 316-stainless steel shackle – the only differentiator is the commercial-approved keyway. Engineered for gates, fences, and harsh outdoor environments, these medium-duty military padlocks feature a corrosion-resistant brass body, a 316 stainless steel shackle, and a rotating disc cylinder built to perform in dirt, saltwater, and freezing conditions — wherever reliability matters most.
