3/8" x 8" Straight Shank Rebar Cutter

A carbide-toothed rebar cutter for when your hole runs into steel. Chuck it in a drill with a 1/2" chuck, run it in rotation only, and it cuts through the rebar so the concrete bit can finish the hole. It is a problem solver, not a concrete bit: never use it to drill concrete. Expect a limited life: by ITM's own figures, a 1/2" cutter that meets #6 (3/4") rebar dead center may drill 5 to 10 holes at the correct speed and pressure, and it is not unusual for a cutter to cut only one bar.
