Raypak Copper Tube Bundle Replacement for 206/207A Heaters | 010059F

Product Overview Restore dependable heat transfer and water circulation in a compatible Raypak pool or spa heater with the Raypak 010059F Copper Tube Bundle Kit. This genuine factory-authorized replacement assembly is designed for select residential Raypak 206A and 207A heaters equipped with polymer water headers. The tube bundle serves as the heater’s primary heat exchanger. Pool water circulates through the copper tubes while hot combustion gases pass around the exterior surfaces. Heat transfers through the copper and into the water before the circulation system returns the heated water to the pool or spa. Scale buildup, freezing, corrosion, restricted circulation, improper chemistry, or overheating can damage the original heat exchanger. Common signs of a failing tube bundle include water leaking inside the heater, reduced heating performance, mineral deposits, unusual boiling sounds, or recurring high-limit faults. Replacing the damaged bundle can restore heater performance without replacing the complete heater. Professional diagnosis is recommended because damaged headers, worn O-rings, bypass problems, and plumbing leaks can produce similar symptoms. Compatibility depends on the complete heater model, serial number, manufacturing date, header material, and heat-exchanger configuration. Do not assume this bundle fits every Raypak 206 or 207 heater. Commercial ASME heaters with metal headers use a different tube bundle. The cupro-nickel upgrade commonly referenced for compatible residential polymer-header installations is Raypak 010364F. Installation Information Turn off electrical power and gas, stop the circulation pump, allow the heater to cool, and relieve all system pressure before service. Drain the heat exchanger before removing the headers or original tube bundle. Installation requires substantial heater disassembly and should be completed by a qualified pool-heater technician. The technician should inspect the polymer headers, internal bypass, refractory panels, burner tray, plumbing, and combustion area while the heater is open. Install the supplied O-rings and hardware according to Raypak procedures. After reassembly, circulate water and carefully inspect the heater for leaks before operating the burner. Verify proper water flow, gas pressure, ignition, combustion, and exhaust operation before returning the heater to service. Package Contents One Raypak copper tube bundle Required heat-exchanger baffle components Flange-nut installation kit Two header O-ring gaskets Polymer headers, bypass components, burner assembly, refractory panels, cabinet parts, plumbing fittings, and labor are not included. Warranty Information Warranty coverage is subject to Raypak’s current replacement-part terms, proof of purchase, correct application, and proper installation. Freeze damage, scale buildup, corrosion, improper water chemistry, restricted flow, overheating, or installation errors may not be covered.
