006720F Raypak Heater Unitherm Governor Plug Replacement

The 006720F Unitherm Governor Plug is an OEM Raypak component that seals the governor port in the heat exchanger assembly, ensuring proper water routing for accurate temperature control. By directing flow through the intended path, this plug prevents thermal bypass that could lead to uneven heating or dangerous temperature spikes. Manufactured from heavy-duty, pool-rated materials, it resists corrosion and holds a tight seal through thousands of heating cycles. The plug drops into place quickly during service, making it an accessible yet critical part for anyone maintaining a Raypak heater. Key Benefits Proper Flow Path Integrity: Seals the governor port to ensure water travels the correct route through the heat exchanger, maintaining accurate temperature output. Guards Against Temperature Spikes: Eliminates thermal bypass conditions that can cause uneven heating or push outlet temperatures beyond safe limits. Heavy-Duty, Pool-Rated Material: Resists chemical attack and thermal stress, holding a reliable seal across thousands of operational cycles. Fast, Simple Replacement: Drops into the governor port without specialized tooling, keeping heater service intervals short and uncomplicated. Integral to Safe Heater Performance: A small but mission-critical component that underpins the efficient, protected operation of your entire Raypak heating system.
