Raspberry Cascade Bounty

Cascade Bounty is a red floricane raspberry offered as a bundle of three dormant bare-root plants. This cultivar was released by Washington State University, Oregon State University, the University of Idaho, and USDA-ARS. Extension references describe vigorous canes, medium-size, medium-firm, bright-red tart fruit, and strong suitability for processing. Plant form: 3 dormant bare-root raspberry plants USDA zones: 6–9 Chill requirement: 600 hours Fruiting type: Floricane / summer-bearing Pollination: Self-fruitful; one variety can set fruit Sun: Full sun Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and train the canes on a trellis or wire system. After the summer harvest, remove floricanes that fruited and retain healthy primocanes for the following year's crop. Extension trials report excellent resistance to root rot. Resistance is not immunity; avoid waterlogged soil and maintain appropriate drainage and irrigation.
