Hand-Painted Raspberry Filigree Earrings

A little context before the listing: Everything I’m selling right now is helping fund two upcoming trips. In September, I’m traveling to Portugal for work and staying an extra four days on my own. Then in December, I’ll be spending about a month in Palestine volunteering with an organization that works to help protect Palestinian families from Israeli settler violence. That second trip isn’t paid work. I need to cover the cost of getting there, but I also need to prepare for nearly a month of lost wages while I’m gone. So every sale genuinely helps get me there and makes it possible for me to take that time away from paid work. Hand-Painted Raspberry Filigree Earrings I hand-painted these detailed filigree pieces in a rich raspberry color, then slightly distressed the finish by hand to bring out some of the detail and give them a more worn-in, imperfect look. Once I’m happy with the finish, I seal each piece for protection. Because the painting and distressing are both done by hand, no two pieces will look exactly alike. Each pair will have its own subtle variations in the finish. They’re lightweight despite their longer size, so you get plenty of color and detail without a heavy earring pulling on your ears. Finished with silver-plated ear wires and hanging approximately 2 1/2" long. • Hand-painted raspberry finish • Hand-distressed • Sealed for protection • Detailed metal filigree • Silver-plated ear wires • Approximately 2 1/2" long
