Compact & Portable: Weighing only 6.2 oz with the pump, this water filter is easily packable and fits into a jacket pocket or small pack. Ease of Use: No need for straws or awkward positions. The RapidFlo™ features a hand pump design that allows you to comfortably filter water while standing or sitting, even from difficult-to-reach sources like the bank of a stream or over the side of a boat. High Flow Rate: Provides fast and refreshing water flow, allowing you to quickly fill your water bottle or share clean water with others using the XStream™ Spray Pump. Chemical-Free Purification: Purifies up to 250 gallons of contaminated water without the need for iodine, chlorine, or other chemicals. No batteries or moving parts required. Durable & Long-Lasting: The Journey™ Filter used in the RapidFlo™ is tested and proven to exceed EPA water standards, purifying up to 250 gallons before needing a replacement. Eco-Friendly: Each Journey™ Filter saves the environment from 1,890 16oz/500ml plastic bottles, reducing your carbon footprint. How It Works: The RapidFlo™ Survival Water Purifier utilizes advanced Nano Fiber Technology, a patented filtration media that electroadsorbs contaminants from the water. This technology uses positively charged media to attract and retain harmful substances, ensuring that viruses, bacteria, and other dangerous organisms cannot pass through. The media consists of non-woven, nano-alumina coated glass fibers with powdered activated carbon (PAC) and antimicrobial protection, offering exceptional efficiency and flow rates. When to Change Your Filter: The lifespan of your filter depends on water usage and contamination levels. The filter will gradually clog over time as it attracts contaminants, eventually leading to reduced water flow. If water flow becomes insufficient, it's time to replace the filter. Even if the flow is reduced to a trickle, the filtered water remains safe to drink.
