Ramon Casas

68 color illustrations. Biographical Timeline, Bibliography. From the publisher: Summarizing Ramón Casas's biography is no easy task. He began painting as a teenager and didn't put down his brushes until the end of his life. Furthermore, his work as a draftsman, as important as his work as a painter, deserves attention in its own right. And, to a lesser extent, his work as a poster artist as well. His direct involvement in various projects related to modernism, such as Els Quatre Gats and the magazine Pèl & Ploma, to name a few, adds to his artistic personality a prominent and patronizing side that is not usually found in most of his colleagues.
