Ralley Jacket - Dark Olive

W'Menswear was founded by Lauren Yates in 2015, born out of a desire to produce high quality, heritage-inspired garments for women - with a nuanced and ever-evolving perspective on femininity at the intersections of fashion, workwear, military garments, and history. Originally operating out of a converting shipping container in Bangkok, the brand has grown substantially with each new collection, employing specialty and custom fabrics as well as partnering with local workshops & artisans. The 2024 collection, titled Diesel Fueled Defiance, is inspired by women who were on the forefront of automobile racing during the Civil Rights movements of the 1960s. Facing down particularly fierce and widespread sexist sentiments, these women brought about advancement for all women through their relentless pursuit of speed and the feeling of adventure. The Ralley Coat is an update to the Hunters Jacket from previous seasons, with a more relaxed A-line silhouette and the same relaxed fit and abundance of pockets. Featuring four roomy front pockets with inverse box pleats allowing them to sit flat when not in use as well as expanding when filled, and a large back pocket that sits above the hem. It's made from a plush cotton/wool fleece fabric and trimmed with 100% cotton military twill, soft and warm with a relaxed drape throughout. The pockets, shoulders, and collar all feature the contrast trim fabric, and the front closes up with custom Yin Yang buttons. The inside is lined with more cotton for comfort, making this an excellent piece of outerwear for colder seasons. Fits true to size with a relaxed fit.
