Raised Bed Refresh

Last season's harvest took a lot out of your soil. Raised Bed Refresh puts the life back in - a top-dress feed powered by Soil Food that restores the living soil your vegetables and flowers depend on, so every bed starts strong again. Re-feeds depleted raised-bed soil - no hauling in new soil every year Powered by Soil Food - our OMRI-listed nutrient & biology base Coarser blend with larger particles - adds depth and tilth as it feeds Easy seasonal top-dress - work it in and water What it isA soil amendment you add to the raised-bed soil you already have - not a replacement potting mix. Refresh restores the nutrients and biology a season of growing depletes, and its larger particles add depth and tilth. Why it worksRaised beds dry out, leach, and lose biology faster than ground soil. Raised Bed Refresh feeds the soil food web so your beds hold nutrients and feed roots the way living soil should. How to use Spread evenly over the bed (a 2 cu ft bag covers about 48 sq ft - roughly 1.5 of a 4x8 bed; a 12 qt bag covers about 10 sq ft). Mix in - work it into the top 4 to 6 inches. Water to settle it in. Apply as a Season Reset at the start of each growing season. Not sure how much? Use the calculator. Why gardeners choose it Healthier soil season after season - restore instead of replace Larger particles add depth and tilth while they feed Made for food gardens Saves money and effort vs. buying new bagged soil every spring FAQDo I need to replace my raised-bed soil, or just refresh it? In most cases, refresh it. Healthy raised-bed soil can last for years if you re-feed it each season. Is it made for vegetables and food crops? Yes - powered by Soil Food, our OMRI-listed soil amendment, and made for food gardens. Always follow label directions. When should I apply it? As a Season Reset at the start of each growing season. What's in it? Powered by Soil Food - the same living-soil nutrition as our OMRI-listed Soil Food, in a coarser blend that adds depth and tilth. How is this different from Soil Food? Soil Food rebuilds soil; Refresh maintains it between plantings. Many gardeners use both.
