Rainy's Flies BFT's Baitfish Streamer

Sometimes matching the hatch means throwing something with a little more meat on it. The Rainy's Flies BFT's Baitfish Streamer is a large-profile saltwater streamer built to imitate the bigger forage species that serious predators are looking for. Offered in Mackerel, Menhaden, Blue Back Herring, and Goggle Eye patterns, these flies give anglers several proven baitfish profiles in one heavy-duty saltwater design. The long, flowing materials create plenty of movement as the fly is stripped through the water, while the broad baitfish profile provides the size and presence needed when predators are keyed in on substantial forage. Work it with long, aggressive strips when fish are chasing bait, mix in pauses and changes of speed, or let the materials do their thing between strips. Each BFT's Baitfish Streamer is tied on a stout 6/0 hook, making it a serious fly for serious saltwater predators. For Northeast anglers, the Menhaden, Mackerel, and Blue Back Herring patterns are particularly useful when striped bass and bluefish are feeding on larger bait. The Goggle Eye pattern adds another natural baitfish option and makes the series equally at home in a wider range of saltwater fisheries. These are not little flies for picking away at little fish. When there is big bait in the water and you want to show a predator something worth chasing, tie on a BFT's.
