Umpqua Rainbow Warrior

Rainbow Warrior, developed by Lance Egan, is one of our most productive droppers on a two-fly rig, especially on tough spring creeks. It delivers a precise, subsurface presentation that helps anglers connect with selective trout where currents shift and visibility drops. Designed for reliability in demanding stream conditions, Rainbow Warrior remains consistent from dawn light to late afternoon shade. Compatibility and setup are straightforward: Rainbow Warrior works with standard two-fly rig configurations, pairing with the top fly to maintain balance while the dropper sinks through feeding lanes. In spring creeks where finicky trout guard pockets and seams, this dropper improves drift reliability and increases your chances of a strike. An effective fly fishing dropper, Rainbow Warrior is built to function as part of a reliable two-fly system, delivering a tactical option when trout feed subtly and only sip near the bottom. Designed by Lance Egan for two-fly rigs Proven producer on tough spring creeks Simple integration with standard leaders and rigging Durable construction for variable water conditions Use Rainbow Warrior when you need a consistent, controlled drop that keeps your top fly clean while the dropper works depth-wise in pocket water and seams.
