Rainbow Striped Ametrine Wand

This exquisite 3.5" long unpolished Rainbow Striped Ametrine Wand, weighing 5.8 ounces, or 164 grams, comes from the Anahi mine in Bolivia, owned by Ramiro Rivera. This gorgeous, increasingly rare and valuable ametrine comes from the Anahi mine in Bolivia, which is now closed. We are fortunate to have a large stash of this AAA ametrine which we bought many years ago. This Bolivian Striped Ametrine is all natural, totally untreated material. This is truly a rare mineralogical find, a collector's item and a Lightworker's power tool. This beauty really luminesces in sunlight, showing long stripes of gold, violet and purple up and down the length of the shaft. This Bolivian Striped Ametrine is a growth interference crystal formation, and has the look and feel of Himalayan Ice Quartz, with deep furrows and ridges on the surface of the crystal that extend deep inside. For this reason Bolivian Striped Ametrine crystals tend to be fairly dark and opaque when dimly lit, or inside a house or office in typical indoor lighting conditions. When exposed to sunlight or strong indoor lights, they become immensely translucent, and the rainbow stripes can be seen clearly. Mineralogical and Metaphysical Properties of Bolivian Striped Ametrine This unique, amazingly luminous Ametrine material was showcased in Gem and Gemology magazine at the time it was mined, in the mid-nineties because even then the color was considered to be so unique, the formation so intriguing that collectors and mineralogists were amazed. The vast majority of Bolivian ametrine contains swirls of gold and violet, but this find, from the Anahi mine on the Paraguay River, is unique because many specimens contain well-defined stripes of violet, purple and gold, not just swirls of color. This Anahi Bolivian Striped Ametrine is beautiful, very high energy old material and until now, has been held in a private collection until it was recently offered to Satya Center. If you're ready to LIGHTEN UP, this stone's for you. In meditation, this ametrine gives the bearer a feeling of buoyancy. The flow of prana increases dramatically, and then energy moves up the body and activates and opens the eye and crown chakras. As the mind clears, the body relaxes. In these times of tension and struggle, worry and busy-ness, it's such a relief to de-stress in deep meditation with one of these Bolivian ametrine wands. Ametrine is a combination of two powerful semi-precious stones, amethyst and citrine. Purple is the color of the third eye chakra in the Western chakra system, and violet and gold are the colors of the crown chakra, so ametrine acts to activate and energize these crucial upper chakras. Ametrine energizes and helps open crown, third eye and heart chakras, connecting the egoistic personality to the Source of Higher Mind, and thus to a conscious awareness of Higher Purpose. In addition, the combination of amethyst and citrine acts as a powerful protective and purifying influence, strengthening the aura, which is, after all the best protection from all negative influences in our environment. Mineralogical and Metaphysical Properties of Amethyst Amethyst is the gemstone variety of quartz, produced by the presence of manganese and hematite in clear quartz crystal. Increments of iron (hematite) within the crystal as it formed vary the color of the amethyst, which can range from pale lilac to deep purple. Amethyst has been popular with royalty, sages, mystics and magicians for centuries. “Fine amethysts are featured in the British Crown Jewels and were also a favorite of Catherine the Great and Egyptian royalty,” according to the International Colored Gemstone Association. “Leonardo Da Vinci wrote that amethyst was able to dissipate evil thoughts and quicken the intelligence,” according to the ICGA website. “Because amethyst was thought to encourage celibacy and symbolize piety, amethyst was very important in the ornamentation of Catholic and other churches in the Middle Ages. It was, in particular, considered to be the stone of bishops and they still often wear amethyst rings,” continues the ICGA. “In Tibet, amethyst is considered to be sacred to Buddha and rosaries are often fashioned from it.” Amethyst is said to enhance spirituality, raise the vibrational level of the holder, cleanse the astral, etheric and physical bodies, and produce a peaceful, tranquil state of mind. The color violet is associated with the crown chakra in the Western chakra system, and so this extremely bright violet amethyst is said by crystal healers to activate and energize the crown chakra, connecting the bearer to Higher Mind, Higher Realms and inner spiritual guidance from extremely elevated and reliable Sources. In the pantheon of modern day New Age Guides and Teachers, the Count de Saint Germain is called “The World Teacher” and “The Master of the Violet Ray” and is thought to communicate mind-to-mind with many, many students around the world. Stones with a violet or purple hue, and especially amethyst, are associated with St. Germain, and resonate with the energy signature of the Violet Flame. There is thought to be a large contingent of his students alive today in the United States, the center of modern Empire, just as Paris was the center of European Empire at the time of St. Germain. Many New Age students of St. Germain utilize crystals and gemstones in their spiritual practice, for healing and in meditation, in a modern alchemical quest for Higher Self, Higher Mind and Higher Purpose. Modern New Age practice encompasses a belief in the theory of karma and reincarnation. The belief in reincarnation has its roots in the Hindu and Egyptian Mystery School traditions, and is fundamental to the Greek Mystery School Tradition of the pre-Socratic philosophers. New Age students of the Ancient Wisdom Teachings often utilize crystals and gemstones, along with meditation techniques, Reiki and past life regression therapy to access memories of past lives, and to release the detrimental patterns of behavior, negative emotions and outmoded mental maps of the world imprinted in our cells, our hearts, our minds and our karma from traumas experienced aeons ago. Many of these modern acolytes of the Great Alchemist, Count St. Germain, utilize crystals and gemstones thought to resonate with the energy vibration of the Violet Ray, which is said to be used under the guidance of St. Germain for purification and to raise the kundalini energy in a quest for Unity Consciousness. Such crystals and gems include especially amethyst, that violet colored form of quartz once so favored by the Pope and Bishops of the Catholic Church. Amethyst is classically the stone of sobriety, purity and chastity and would be an excellent stone for those with tendencies toward addictive behavior, or for those spiritual seekers intent upon transformation through the progressive purification of mind, body and aura. Metaphysical and Mineralogical Properties of Citrine Citrine is a powerful semi-precious stone which is a rare, more energetically powerful form of quartz crystal, characterized by a yellow color, ranging from white to deep copper. It is less common in nature than amethyst (another member of the quartz family, and one of the two semi-precious stones present in ametrine) but both are found in quartz veins, as well as volcanic locations and elsewhere in nature. The color of citrine derives from small amounts (approximately 40 parts per million) of iron in the quartz. The difference between citrine and amethyst is only the oxidation state of the iron present in the quartz. Citrine typically is formed when an amethyst becomes heated to the point where the iron held within the crystal undergoes a further stage of oxidation. Citrine is an excellent stone for clearing and cleansing body, mind, heart and aura.Citrine is considered by metaphysical rock hounds to be a stone of strong protection because of its ability to cleanse the aura. According to Melody’s valuable book, Love is in the Earth, citrine is one of only two minerals on Earth that do not hold or accumulate negative energy. Instead citrine transforms negative energy and dissipates it once it has been rendered positive in nature. Citrine is said to aid in digestion and to activate the thymus, which regulates our immune system, thus promoting health and well-being. In addition, citrine is said to provide a feeling of comfort and optimism. I must admit, that when I wear or work with citrine, I have a great sense of well being and protection. Citrine activates, opens and energizes the third chakra, including the navel and solar plexus, stimulating both the physical body and the mind, increasing endurance and elevating energy levels while promoting emotional balance (unlike other stimulants such as caffeine). Citrine is an excellent stone for clearing the aura of negative emotions. Citrine also stimulates the crown chakra, our doorway to Cosmic Consciousness, and helps unite the seven lower chakras and the physical body with the energy frequency of the Higher Self, aligning the eighth chakra with the rest of the energy body. In our experience, citrine cleanses the emotional and etheric bodies, and stimulates the holder’s vital energies and physical body. It imparts a strong sense of protection if worn on the body or placed in a room where energy work takes place or groups gather. Used in energy healing, citrine is said to transmit the golden light of unity consciousness, which is tuned to the very highest vibrations of an open eighth chakra -- the chakra above the crown of the head, said by the Western New Age chakra system to be the location of the Higher Self. When Jane and I have used citrine in Reiki and crystal energy sessions with clients, they have reported feeling a golden glow around them. We have also found that citrine is a powerful tool for extracting negative energies, gently dissolving energy blocks, and releasing negative emotions during sessions. This crystal has been cleaned with Universal Life Force Energy, and given an energy attunement using Reiki, a Japanese technique of energy healing, so it will continue to receive and transmit Universal Life Force Energy direct from the Source of Creation. It has also been cleaned and charged with the natural energy of sunlight. It is ready for you to program according to your own needs and desires. Use this powerful crystal with loving care and respect its long evolutionary journey deep in the Earth, which has developed its unique metaphysical properties and beautiful appearance.
