Radium Fuel Cell Subharness Kit

Click here to download installation instructions (PDF) OVERVIEW The fuel cell subharness kit is a great addition for quicker pit stops. It is common for racers to have a spare drop-in FCST-X fuel pump module in the pit in case there is an issue with a fuel pump, electrical wiring, etc. With a subharness on both FCST-X units, the entire pump assembly can be swapped quicly without any tools. COMPATIBILITY -RADIUM ENGINEERING FCST-X (or FCST) Each of the 26 preterminated 10awg wires has a unique identification labels associated with the FCST-X labeling. However, they can still be used with the older FCST that has slightly different labeling. -RADIUM ENGINEERING RA-SERIES FUEL CELLS Designed specifically to mount on the perimeter of RA-Series Fuel Cells. For another fuel cell to be directly compatible, the bolt spacing must be 3.6"-5.7" (91-145mm). The bolt hole distance of the bulkhead mount is compatible with all Radium Engineering RA-series fuel cells. It can be mounted anywhere along the perimeter of the fuel cell. Furthermore, the mount can be rotated inwards or outwards for a 3in (76mm) location difference. HOW ASSEMBLY WORKS 1. Install the labeled ring terminal wires to the FCST-X studs. 2. Install the mount using the fuel cell hardware. 3. Assemble the bulkhead connector to the mount. 4. Cut and crimp the contacts to the wires 5. Install the contacts into the connector. 6. Install the plug seals into all open cavities. 7. Assemble and populate the chassis harness. Click the instructions link for more in-depth information. WHAT IS NEEDED 1. For the stamped contacts, an open barrel style crimper is required. 2. Although contacts are provided for the connector, wiring is not included for the chassis harness. 3. Although not required, wire loom (expandable sleeving, adhesive cloth tape, etc.) is not included.  INCLUDES All provided parts are shown below. -Anodized aluminum fuel cell mounting bracket -Environmentally sealed female CPC bulkhead connector -Environmentally sealed male CPC connector -Stamped 14-10awg open barrel female contacts (x16) -Stamped 14-10awg open barrel male contacts (x16) -Black rubber boot, straight -Black rubber boot, right angle -Bulkhead panel hex nut -Bulkhead locking wave washer -Plugs for empty cavities (x25) -Cable zip-ties (x5) -Labeled 10awg wire with preterminated ring terminals (x26)
