Available Size1 fl oz / 30 ml Professional RecommendationChoose this peel when the complexion looks dull or the surface feels uneven and you want a short, timed, leave-on refining step rather than a physical scrub. The official directions call for a thin layer on clean, dry skin, away from the eye area and any active blemishes, left in place for three to five minutes; sensitive skin should dilute the peel with water first, while comfortable, non-sensitive skin can work up toward ten minutes. We suggest starting with one application a week, checking how skin feels the next morning, and only then increasing frequency. On peel days keep the rest of the routine plain — a gentle cleanser, hydration, and a broad-spectrum sunscreen in the daytime. This peel and the Turmeric Energizing Treatment are the two exfoliating options in this range, and they are not interchangeable. The peel stays fluid, goes on in a thin layer and is timed, which makes it the easier of the two to control and to dilute when skin is reactive. The Turmeric Energizing Treatment is a powder you activate with water into a warming mousse, so it is the more intensive and more sensory choice for skin that already tolerates exfoliation well. Use one or the other on a given day, never both. If you are unsure which one suits you, an online skincare consultation or an in-studio facial at Beauty Ambassade is the quickest way to decide. Safety InformationFor external use only. Introduce the peel gradually — a single short application in the first week — and keep it away from the eye area, the eyelids and the lips. Do not use another exfoliating product on the same day, and always finish your morning routine with a broad-spectrum sunscreen, since freshly exfoliated skin looks and feels more sun-sensitive. Patch test on a small area along the jaw before the first full application, rinse thoroughly with cool water when the time is up, and stop use if skin stings, stays flushed or feels uncomfortable afterwards. A brief tingle during the application is normal; lasting discomfort is not. Store the jar closed, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Not recommended for: Skin that is broken, freshly waxed, already irritated or sore after time in the sun. Application over active blemishes or broken skin. The eye area, eyelids and lips. Same-day layering with another peel, scrub or exfoliating treatment. Anyone with a known sensitivity to any ingredient on the label. Frequently Asked QuestionsHow often should I use the peel? Start with once a week and stay there for three to four weeks. If skin remains comfortable, you can move to twice a week. More frequent use is not better and usually shows up as tightness or a reactive-looking flush. My skin is sensitive — can I still use it? The official directions allow for dilution: mix the peel with a little water in your palm before applying, and keep contact time at the short end of three minutes. If your skin is highly reactive, start with a consultation rather than experimenting at home. Is a tingling sensation expected? A mild, short-lived tingle while the peel is on the skin is common. Stinging or a flush that outlasts the rinse is not — remove the product with cool water and give the skin several days off before trying a shorter application. Can I use it in the same routine as the Turmeric Energizing Treatment? No. Use one exfoliating step per day and leave several days between them. Alternating the two within a week is only worth trying once each has felt comfortable on its own. What should I apply afterwards? Rinse with cool water, then follow with something calming and hydrating — a mist, a comforting mask, and your usual moisturizer. In the morning, finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
