Radiant Becoming | Iridescent 3D Textured Mandala Painting

Radiant Becoming is a celebration of transformation, resilience, and inner energy. Painted freehand using Bala Thiagarajan’s signature textured piping technique, the mandala draws from the visual language of henna, kolam, and rangoli traditions while embracing a contemporary palette of jewel-toned blues, violets, pinks, and golds. Layer by layer, the intricate patterns expand outward from the center, symbolizing the continual unfolding of identity and self-discovery. The deep violet background creates a sense of depth and stillness, allowing the luminous mandala to emerge like a meditative force of light. A dichroic glass center reflects shifting colors and perspectives, reinforcing themes of change, balance, and personal evolution. Rooted in repetition and symmetry, this work invites viewers into a contemplative space where beauty, ritual, and growth coexist.
