RACECHIP Tesla Model Y 2019- PERFORMANCE AWD Range Extender

• Additional Range (Urban): 48 • Improved range and fewer charging stops, especially in urban traffic. • Increased comfort, by balancing other electrical consumption, e.g. from air conditioning, heating, etc. • Smooth power output supports the health of the battery.• Reduce your CO2 footprint. • There is also a sport mode if required, which offers more driving pleasure while maintaining the same range. Description   Unlock additional range for your electric vehicle! Enjoy simplified and improved day-to-day use of your electric vehicle through an increased range. The RaceChip RX is attached between the accelerator pedal sensor and the engine control unit. Simple plug & play installation means that it can be fitted without any prior technical knowledge. The signals emitted by the accelerator pedal sensor are adjusted via specially tuned characteristic curves. This results in a more linear torque demand on the electric motor and increased energy recovery when the accelerator pedal is released. As a result, less energy is lost and energy recovery is improved during braking; the same battery capacity will cover a longer distance. App Controlled: Switch between Maximum Range and Dynamic Driving with improved energy recovery at the touch of a finger! This makes it easier than ever to control your vehicle's throttle response. The RaceChip RX and the RaceChip app are easily connected via your smartphone's Bluetooth. The RaceChip+ app lets you choose between the three individual driving modes and adapt the RX to your personal driving style. From maximum possible range to dynamic driving performance with improved energy recovery. 3 individual driving modes Fast, intuitive operation Wireless controls Brainbox: The Brainbox is the RX's brain, controlling the processes required to optimize throttle response and communicating with the RaceChip app via Bluetooth, allowing you to control it via your smartphone. Thanks to its handy size (approx. 70 x 80mm), the Brainbox is very easy to store and fix in the footwell of your vehicle. It doesn't impact the driver's legroom due to its low height. It is also possible to mount it in other locations, such as in existing bays or slots, as well as on smooth surfaces in the vehicle. Customer Service When you’re installing aftermarket tuning products in your vehicle, the last thing you want is an issue during installation without a clear way to solve the problem. RaceChip provides easy-to-understand instructions with every RaceChip tuning box. If you run into an issue during install, RaceChip can help you with their knowledgeable customer service team. Bluetooth Connectivity Unlike most tuning solutions, RaceChip tuning boxes allow you to connect your smartphone to the tuning box to make changes. Straight out of the box you’re able to switch between three performance levels: Efficiency, Sport, and Race. If you need a customized tuning file, RaceChip can provide a modified tuning file which you can install on the tuning box. Tuning Box vs ECU Tuning What makes RaceChip special compared to many other tuning companies is the type of products they offer. Many tuning companies offer ECU flashes AND tuning boxes, but RaceChip offers just tuning boxes. A “tuning box” works by capturing sensor outputs such as MAF, Oxygen Sensors, TPS, Ignition, etc, and modifying the signal before the vehicle’s ECU receives the signal. With this type of system, your OEM ECU is left completely stock. Unlike many tuning boxes on the market, RaceChip tuning boxes are intelligent. They work more like small computers and modify sensor signals in real-time, compared to traditional tuning boxes which don’t modify the signals in real-time. Compared to ECU flashing, installing a tuning box is very easy and does not require overwriting your OEM ECU with a new file. With a “plug and play” design, it’s easy to uninstall a tuning box without a trace of it ever being installed on the vehicle. Installation Installation: • Disconnect the plug from the original plug adapter on the accelerator pedal. • Connect the Brainbox to this original plug adapter. • Mount the Brainbox on a smooth surface in the footwell. • Set up the RaceChip+ app to control the RX. • Done! Now you can drive and save. Have fun!   Specifications Notes: • The RaceChip RX does not affect battery life, the smoother power output actually protects battery cells and can extend battery life • The connector attaches to the sensor with a simple lock. The plug can be easily removed by releasing this lock. You will find detailed information on how to do this in your user manual. Who is RaceChip? RaceChip started in 2008, when founder Manuel Götz wanted to take his passion for automobiles to the next level. They initially operated and sold their tuning products within Europe, but in 2010 they expanded their dealer network to offer their products globally. Today, RaceChip is one of the biggest and most well-known aftermarket tuning companies in the world. Their focus on building quality tuning systems that increase horsepower without sacrificing reliability has allowed them to serve hundreds of thousands of customers all over the world. Why Choose RaceChip? As you probably know, there are a lot of tuning companies within the automotive aftermarket. Some are small niche tuners who specialize in tuning specific platforms, such as Ford EcoBoost, and some tuning companies offer products for nearly everything. RaceChip is one of the companies with a very broad product catalog. Quality of Tune File How much time is spent developing a tune file or tuning the product makes a massive difference. On the surface, it may seem like advancing ignition timing and optimizing air/fuel ratios, but creating a quality tuning product is much deeper than that. RaceChip tuning doesn’t simply turn everything to the max - it optimizes intelligently within your engine’s design limits.
