RACCOON + KITTEN

If you want additional views, check out my Instagram highlights for video clips of available pieces. Description: Raccoon is so scared that kitten will run away and never return, so it's contemplating on ways to keep it.  This small sculpt is made from kiln-fired earthenware clay. Because I apply glaze to the entire piece, kiln stilts are required to ensure it the glaze does not run onto the kiln shelves while reaching the appropriate (very high heat) temperature. As a result, most pieces will have marks, typically on the bottom. This is just part of the process and is not a flaw, I consider it a birthmark that has been fired into them while they transform from something temporary to their permanent form. However, I do sand down sharp points so that the marks don't take away from the piece's beauty. I do not use molds and each item in my shop is a One Of A Kind (OOAK) This item not a toy and should be handled as any other breakable object you own, fine China, if you will. Side note, just FYI, I use all lead free and food safe materials when making my works. Still though, don't put any of these pieces in your mouth. If you have any questions, please send me a convo and I will gladly provide answers to the best of my ability. Also, I will refund any S/H overages if they are over $2.00 and will foot the extra if I didn't estimate enough.
