Rockville R8G250B-Black Our audio engineers have tested this wire against 10 other brand names. We did tons of research with the goal of creating a reasonably priced wire that has the same results as the expensive brand name wire. When we were doing testing, we noticed the cheaper brands did not measure to real 8 gauge like these ones. They had thick insulation but they were short on the wire. We also tested resistance which is really the only thing that matters. Since Rockville wires are made with a higher percentage of copper, these wires had a much better resistance rating which means they will transfer more power to your amps than these other brands who make their wires mostly of aluminum. Rockville power and ground cables are manufactured using the highest quality copper raw materials and engineered with other specialized elements so that they transfer high current draws with the absolute lowest impedance. By eliminating trapped air in our cables, our special manufacturing process ensures that our braided Super Flex cables remain extremely flexible and have a reduced skin effect which helps them keep cool and transfer power from battery to the amplifier with minimal signal loss. What does all this mean to you? It means a more efficient electrical system. Your amplifiers wont be starving for power or current. You can expect longer service life from your amplifier, and increased audio performance. While other companies simply import products from China, Rockville manufactures the products in China to lower your cost but do so under American style supervision and quality standards to get you that USA quality that you want! About Rockville Quality Control Procedures: The Rockville brand stands for Quality, Innovation and Value. All Rockville products go through the most rigorous quality control standards in the industry. Products go through months of extensive testing before they reach your hands. All user functions are tested and all internal components are tested for quality. Rockville makes products that are virtually un-breakable! Rockville is one of the only brands in its class to test every concept model for weeks or months before starting production. Once production begins, Rockville sends product engineers to their factory to quality control every line of production. During production every product is tested and on top of that Rockville goes the extra mile and has their high level product engineers do an additional quality control. They test a certain percentage of all products from the production line a second time to ensure that the quality meets their vigorous standards, and to make sure that there is never a batch of products with even a slight problem. All Rockville products are backed with a hassle free warranty, though it is unlikely that you will need to use it. Great features and great quality make Rockville a great choice.
