Art Deco Filigree Engagement Ring Setting in Platinum for a 1/4 - 1/3 Carat Diamond

Meticulously executed in lavish platinum, this gorgeous Art Deco filigree engagement ring is hand crafted in delicate pierced filigree, hand finished and engraved in intricate detail. The ornate engraved filigree bead bezel setting is the perfect frame for a center gemstone of 4.35 - 4.45 millimeters in diameter, flanked by 2 shimmering round brilliant diamonds totaling 0.04 carat. Measuring 6.9 millimeters wide at the top of the ring and tapering down to 1.7 millimeters wide at the bottom of the band, it rises 5.3 millimeters off the finger.  This ring is shown set with a diamond for illustration purposes, and is sold WITHOUT a center stone - a round brilliant cut diamond of 4.35 - 4.45 millimeters in diameter will fit perfectly. Please note that this ring setting is complicated and difficult to set, and requires the skill of an expert gem setter with skills beyond that of the average jeweler. This setting can not be enlarged to accommodate a larger diamond or altered to accommodate a smaller one without destroying the setting.
