R. Weaver FX Midnight Vibe '68 Spec

The R Weaver FX Midnight Vibe stands as a testament to the passion, expertise, and artistry of one man: Rick Weaver. Rick's musical journey began over 40 years ago, marked by a deep fascination with the technical aspects of music, from guitars and amps, to pedals and beyond. With the Midnight Vibe, Rick has poured his heart and soul into crafting a pedal that captures the essence of vintage Vibes, and he's succeeded admirably! Every component has been carefully selected to ensure the highest quality. From the NOS Japanese-made C2-V bulbs to the meticulously chosen photocells that rival the best of the original Uni-Vibe cells, no expense was spared. When you engage the Midnight Vibe, you'll experience a level of clarity, a mesmerizing swirl, and a phase that will leave you in awe. Rick knows precisely how to make these units come alive, delivering the lush 3D throb and clarity that legendary recordings are known for! R Weaver FX Midnight Vibe V3 pedal features: • Captures the essence of the classic 1960s Vibes, • Crafted using the highest quality components. • Every component has been carefully selected to ensure the highest quality. • Internal trimmers for bulb bias adjustment and offset / symmetry of the sweep. • Cancel button turns off the effect while leaving the preamp untouched. • True Bypass. • Power: 18V DC. (power supply not included!) • Current Draw: 250mA. **  It is recommended running these vibes at 21vdc. You can run them at 18vdc no problem but they just sound better at 21vdc. How I get there and also many of my customers that have these latest units, is by running a voltage doubler cable on a power supply such as the Strymon Zuma or the Cioks units and others. The doubler cable uses one outlet at 9vdc and one at 12vdc for a total of 21vdc to the pedal. You want that 9v outlet to give 200ma at least. The current comes from the lowest voltage tap so as long as that 9v tap is 200ma and up, it’s good to go **
