We collaborate with Cha Cha's House of Ill Repute to make an exclusive collection of limited edition handmade hats each season. This winter while Cha Cha and Amelia were working on the collection, Amelia made an off-hand comment about the ancient Inca record keeping using knotted fiber that scholars are still unable to read, as one does. They spent lunch that day looking at quipu knots and decided to make a hat and this is it. Made in a beautiful and softly fragrant marocca straw in one of our easiest to wear shapes Quipu is all about the details.
