Precision Fabric Cutting with this Quilting Ruler Handle Fabric cutting is one of the most time consuming processes when making a new quilt. Part of the struggle is when the cutting ruler just won't come off the cutting mat! I've shattered the corners of several quilting rulers by yanking too hard and finding the ruler slipping right out of my hand. Having a Ruler Knob attached to the back of a ruler makes an immediate difference. There's a handle to grip! I can easily position the ruler and cut fabric accurately, then reposition the ruler for the next cut too. What I love most about this knob is the suction cup - this quilting ruler handle easily attaches and detaches with no sticky residue. Machine Quilting with Rulers I'm sad to say, I haven't done much ruler quilting lately because it was making my hands hurt. I was putting so much pressure down on the quilting ruler that my hands were cramping. Now with the Ruler Knob attached to my quilting rulers, I can once again enjoy this machine quilting style! I saw an immediate improvement and far less strain on my hands when machine quilting with the knob attached to the back of the ruler. Will all quilting rulers work with the Ruler Knob? This is a one-size-fits-most quilting tool. Not ALL rulers will work with this quilting ruler handle because of the size of the suction cup on the back. If your ruler is less than 2 inches wide or has grooves or cuts that will break up the suction, it probably won't attach properly. But MOST quilting rulers, and certainly rotary cutting rulers will work with this tool. I hope you'll give it a try and see an improvement in your fabric cutting or machine quilting ability!
